Risks You Should Know About During Pregnancy
If you have diabetes, high blood pressure, or any other health condition, ask your health care provider about special precautions.  Always follow your health care providers advice about nutrition, exercise, rest and other health matters.
· Abdominal (stomach) cramps or pain.
· Vaginal bleeding.
· Passing blood clots or whitish or grayish tissue.
· Decrease in fetal movement.
· If you notice any of these signs, call your health care provider right away.

· Contractions that occur 4 - 6 times or more in 1 hour.
· Menstrual-like abdominal cramps.
· Low, dull backache.
· Increase in vaginal discharge or any unusual discharge.

Physical abuse can harm you and your baby.  If you are in an abusive relationship, be aware that abuse often increases during pregnancy.

Talk to your health care provider about getting help right away.
                            Hazards to Avoid:



Xrays can slow the baby's growth.

Stay away from chemicals and fumes from paint, cleaning fluids and varnish.

Stay away from soiled cat litter. It can put your unborn baby at risk of a disease that can cause birth defects.

Stay away from hot tubs and saunas.
